FAQs
Find answers about our spas, how they work, and what makes them different from the rest.
No. The Pool sits above ground on a firm, level surface and arrives fully assembled. That is the main reason people choose it over an in-ground pool — no excavation, no concrete, and no months of disruption.
The Pool needs a 15-amp outdoor supply and the external plinth positioned nearby, which houses the pump, controller, Wi-Fi and heat pump. Talk to us early about your site — we will tell you exactly what you need on the day.
Almost certainly, and this one is worth getting right. Any pool holding 400mm or more of water comes under the Building Code. Your Pool comes with a full lockable safety cover, and a cover can satisfy the requirement in some circumstances — but only where every pool wall sits at least 760mm above the ground and the walls cannot be climbed. Check your specific site with your local council before you buy. See building.govt.nz/poolsafety.
Down to 5°C, and it holds there. The reverse cycle heat pump actively chills rather than letting the water find its own temperature, so it stays cold through a Central Otago summer.
10, seated on 360-degree bench seating. The operating capacity is 2,500 litres.
For a chlorine option, it is very important to stay within the perameters of the test strip. Stainless can only handle chlorine concentration of up to 5 parts per million (ppm). It is equally important to stay within the parameters for PH, Alkalinity and water hardness. If one of these parameters is out of balance, it can cause discolouration on the stainless, which left neglected can lead to rust" *Damage caused due to over Chlorination will void the Stoked structural warranty.
Stainless steel is non-porous, so there is nothing for bacteria to take hold in. We recommend AQUASPA, a chlorine and bromine free system, and a starter kit is included. If you do use chlorine, keep it at or below 5 parts per million — above that it can discolour the steel and will void the structural warranty.
Heating and chilling are the main costs and vary with your climate, set temperature and how often you use it. The insulated cover makes more difference than anything else — it is included, and keeping it on between swims is the single best thing you can do.
Stoked Stainless prides itself on the high-quality materials we choose so you can relax and enjoy crystal clear, chemical free water treatments and minerals of your choice.
Creating a lifetime of enjoyment just like a natural spring in your own backyard.
Electric Products – 316L Stainless Steel.
There are various water treatment options available. Some work better in certain situations than others. To help keep your spa water clean, it is important to prevent day to day things like sunscreen, moisturiser and makeup from deteriorating the water quality.
We recommend Aquaspa, which is a Chlorine and Bromine free sanitising system for spas and hot tubs. This delivers a healthy and gentle cleaning system.

Filters
No matter what option you choose, it is important to have clean filters. Details on how to remove the filters are in the product's user manual, replacement filters are readerly available from our website. We recommend you have a second filter and then swap the filters in your spa as needed.
Water testing
It is important to stay within the perimeters of the test strip. If using chlorine 316L marine grade stainless can handle chlorine concentration of up to 5 parts per million (ppm).
It is equally important to stay within the parameters for PH, alkalinity, and water hardness. If one of these parameters
is out of balance, it can cause discolouration on the stainless.

Cedar exhibits natural variations in colors, grains, and textures. As it interacts with the environment, it may develop splits and cracks. Please note that these are not considered faults or flaws and will not compromise the construction of any Stoked Ltd product.
We recommend applying oil to your cedar at least once a year, taking into account the dryness of the environment. For instance, in Central Otago, we suggest oiling twice a year (every six months).
